Inspired by the brothers Charles and John Deane, who invented the diving helmet and wrote the first ever diving manual,Method of Using Deane’s Patent Diving Apparatus (1836).
They had many adventures under the sea with their wonderful invention, one of which was to salvage some of the Mary Rose shipwreck from the bottom of the Solent.

Made in Sheffield, etched at the Sussex coast, Mabel & Moore cutlery has a simple yet striking design using a traditional 18th century Rattail design forming a delicate tail detail on the back of the spoon and fork.
Each piece is individually made by highly skilled cutlers in Sheffield using the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel to provide a wonderfully fine cutting edge. The handles are resin mimicking bone and won’t discolour and are thoroughly dishwasher safe.
